A chef sliced a duck right in front of us, which was great because we could clearly see what we were eating. The price was reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place!

We've been eating here for thr past 2 years, each time we leave full and happy. The peking duck is a great value at $60, but you do need to order it 1 hour in advance. They serve the best salty egg yolk green beans, and the homemade pancake is huge and a fantastic value at $8. We brought my parents here when they visited NZ and they loved all the dishes we ordered. Highly recommended!
Update: came back again and the food was excellent! The chef is very consistent in his cooking which we appreciate, as not all chinese restaurants are consistent and you never know what you're gonna get. Not here! The free jasmine tea is enjoyable as it's not too strong, not too weak (the owner says she buys the tea leaves from a specialty shop). The 20% off promotion is still available!

So underrated! This is the best value Peking Duck in Auckland. You do need to call ahead and order for the duck but it is worth it. The other mains are also super tasty and portion sizes are huge. The food comes out pretty fast. Very authentic- my Chinese families favourite place. The interior is quite bare but it’s worth overlooking for the food.

If you’re craving Beijing duck, you definitely have to visit this place. The owner is from Beijing, so the taste is truly authentic. It gave me a real taste of home, even in a foreign country. I’m really grateful.

Excellent Peking duck and amazing hot food dishes. The chef comes out to carve the duck at the table as part of a dinner and show. If you are in Panmure make sure to stop by and try it out!
